The C16 is the most productive and most highly automated rotary offset press for frequent job changes in the 16-page segment. With plate changing times of less than a minute, 55,000 or 65,000 cylinder revolutions per hour and very short set-up times, you can also produce small-volume jobs cost-effectively. And this is all possible with excellent print quality on many different materials. Use Logotronic to integrate the C16 in your digital workflow and benefit from the flexible production opportunities with the automatic changeover in the P3 folder. The EasyTronic press presetting system makes sure that waste is kept low. Well thought-out automation, operator friendliness, energy efficiency and minimum maintenance as well as practical details make the C16 fit for your everyday work in the print shop.
Profitable small runs from the rotary press
With its robust design, practical automation and clever details, the C16 is ideal for the production of small, medium-sized and large production runs. Semi-automatic plate change is standard, and the optional fully automatic plate changer changes the plates in one or all printing units simultaneously in less than one minute. You can also produce runs of significantly less than 10,000 copies cost-effectively on the rotary press. The variable imprinter technology allows the simultaneous change of imprinting units on the verso and recto sides.
Automatic roller locks contribute to process optimisation and ease of maintenance. Mini-gap technology on the blanket cylinder reduces the non-printing strips to less than 6 mm. The standard superstructure is configured for straight-on production, but is also optionally available with turner bars. The folders with fully automatic changeover and with a unique product control system require only one quarter fold, with up to 65,000 copies per hour.
Flexible modular design and intelligent automation
The modular design of the C16 allows tailor-made press systems to meet your requirements. The well thought-out building block system shortens and simplifies your project planning. The operator-oriented ErgoTronic control console, the EasyTronic automatic press presetting system and the JDF-based LogoTronic production management system are the most important components in an integrated automation concept.
